Understand the basics of Pyramid Solitaire

For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer. Work at your own pace. Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

Pyramid, stock and waste; one stock recycle. Free solo play, no wagering.

Something to practise

Use the rule sheet as a reference. Tap exposed cards that satisfy the removal rule shown above. Use another round to revisit a decision.

What counts as success

Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Check the relevant controls before continuing. Before making a move, check the cards in view.

Step by step

  1. Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone.
  2. Tap exposed cards that satisfy the removal rule shown above.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Input guidance

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Take the next action only when the current step is clear. Before making a move, check the cards in view.

A useful example

An exposed queen pairs with an ace; a jack pairs with a 2. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

Keep this in mind

A clear plan starts with the current position. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
